OMG! This is the BEST Music Site

Okay, so let's say you're really crushin' on a guy but he's got the hots for your BFF and you are beyond blue. You need a song, quick, to help you wallow in your sadness.

Or this guy you've been crushin' on is way into you, as in, suddenly he's phoning and texting you as if he's trying to save his life! You need a song that will go along with that happy squealing feeling that you've got running up your throat.

Musicology is the coolest music site on the Internet, and Girls' Life magazine just has to brag about it.

How to Tell if your Boyfriend is a Lying, Cheating Skunk!

We are up to our necks in girls asking us about their boyfriends. Turns out that teenage boys like to date lots of girls... not just one! Ack! So how do you tell if he's not telling you the truth when he says, "Babe, you're the only one"? Easy. Check out the facial rules here:

And don't worry if you don't like the answer. It's natural for guys and gals to want to see other people... so just take it with a grain of salt, remain friends, and see other people yourself. You'll be surprised what will happen in a couple of years when he really is ready to settle down. He'll remember YOU!

Rumer Willis IS Beautiful

Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr is Rumer Willis' BFF and they often hit an L.A. Korean spa together to have their nails done, according to a quote Rumer gave People Magazine after People proclaimed that Rumer Willis is one of the World's Most Beautiful People. Rumer also noshes on French fries with Sophia Bush, recently received the 2008 Miss Golden Globe award, and has the fashion sense of the most fashion-forward Parisian. (Plus, you know, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis as parents and Ashton Kutcher as a stepdad... well, no small thing.)

You tell us... does that sound like a bad life?

Nope, but when you think about the way the media has always been so fast to slam Rumer in the appearance department, you'd have to think again. Could you handle the media constantly talking about how ugly you are? We know we couldn't. But, in fact, Rumer has had to deal with this time and time again, and has handled these slams with humor. When People Magazine recognized her for her beauty, she told Page Six, "After being compared to Jay Leno for so long, you don't think of yourself in that way."

We happen to think Rumer Willis is beautiful, because from the inside out she's managed to build a fantastically strong personality -- and has grown into her beauty (Rumer Willis has style!)... and in our book, that's what real beauty is all about.
Who says you have to look like a Barbiedoll to be considered beautiful? Let's hope that we can keep growing in the direction of finding beauty within individuality. With the help of gorgeous women such as Rumer Willis and popular magazines such as People who have taken the dare to step over the edge from time to time, we'll get there. Bravo. Bravo. Job well done!

Girls' Life Makes Headlines Around the World

Girls' Life Magazine LOVES Perez Hilton, who put two and two together regarding the unconfirmed romance between Nick Jonas (of Jonas Brothers fame) and Selena Gomez (of Wizards of Waverly Place) last week.

Here's the scoop. We had run our Jonas Brothers' Celebrity Spotlight in our June/July issue, where Nick Jonas said: "On one date, the girl said to me, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' So I said, 'I don't follow the rules.' Ooooh! It was so good!"

Then, a few months later Twist magazine quoted Selena Gomez as saying: "While we were slow dancing…my crush and I had our first kiss! After it, I leaned back and I said, 'You cheated.' And he said, 'Why' and I said, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' Then he said, 'Well, I never really play by the rules. '"

Since then, every publication from People magazine, US magazine, the NY Daily News, the San Francisco Chronicle, eOnline, the Hollywood Gossip, Teen Scoops, TV.com, etc., have quoted both Twist and Girls' Life as the sources. And the grapevine has gone clear across the Atlantic Ocean -- France's very popular http://www.blogger.com/www.infosjeunes.com and Germany's just-as-popular http://www.maedchen.de/, both jumped on the bandwagon, as did sites from the UK, Norway, Ireland and more! It was an amazing journey for Girls' Life magazine, and we didn't even have to leave the office to make it.

Three months (since our story about Nick Jonas came out) is a long time for both celebrities and teens to keep a relationship going -- and Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez are both celebs and teens! So hat's off to the young, shining romance! Don't they make the cutest couple?!

Girls' Life magazine loves Wii Fit

We are completely loving Wii Fit. Why? It's all about balance, which doesn't seem all that important after you've eaten a pint of Cookie Dough ice cream. But the thing is, if you have good balance, it means you're already working your abs. So Wii Fit comes along and makes sure that you focus on doing everything in conjunction with balance -- and you get to work out at home. Holy shot! Who knew that would be so hard? But it is hard, and it is fun, too!

The Top Five Best Reasons A Girl Like You Needs To Get A Wii Fit:
  1. Wii Fit makes exercise fun. It's impossible to get bored doing aerobics.
  2. You'll finally understand what it means to compete against yourself.
  3. Although it's costly up front, Wii Fit more than pays for itself when you factor in saving the money you'd normally spend on gym dues and the gallons of gas your car guzzles getting to the gym.
  4. You'll finally have something interactive and fun to do with your friends (and, yep, even your family).
  5. This is something you can do in front of the TV that doesn't require eating! And you can even watch TV while you do it!

How to Get an iPhone

Want to talk your parents (or someone!) into buying you an iPhone?

  2. Maps are excellent for studying geography! When you get bored waiting for your parents to pick you up, you can play around and find out where Uganda is.
  3. It's cheaper than a computer!
  4. With easy Google access, and a word document program at your fingertips, you can write your English essays no matter where you are.
